I LOVE BOOKS!
Books are my life… seriously. I’ve always been called a bookworm. For me, continuous learning is like the air that I breathe or the water that I drink. I need books to survive and grow. You know what I mean?
I am the kind of person that also likes to plan. As I work to get this Digital Marketing business off the ground, I want to arm myself with knowledge, so I am reading… and I mean reading A LOT!
Here is a picture of the books currently sitting on my couch! Yes, I buy books! I love the feeling of opening a book and holding it in my hands. Ebooks have their place and I have been known to read them but something about the way a book feels in my hands is magical to me… but that’s a discussion for another day.
Anyway, I’ve mostly been reading professional development books for marketing, SEO, funnels, running Adwords and Facebook advertising campaigns. My brain is exploding with information and I’m chomping at the bit to put this knowledge into action. In fact, I’m in the beginning stages of writing a marketing plan for Legacy Venture Group as we speak. (Don’t ask where I find the time… sleep doesn’t exist these days! LOL!)
So I’m going to share with you my favorite books so far!
Full disclosure – I do have an affiliate relationship for some of these products. That said, I fully believe in them or I wouldn’t be putting them on here!
**EDIT 1/10/20 – I’ve updated the links for these books to the most current version.***
- DotCom Secrets & Expert Secrets – Russell Brunson
- The One Week Marketing Plan – Mark Satterfield
- Duct Tape Marketing – John Jantsch
- SEO 2020 – Adam Clarke
- The 4-Hour Workweek – Timothy Ferriss
- Adwords Workbook 2020 – Jason McDonald
- Ultimate Guide to Facebook Advertising (3rd Ed) – Perry Marshall, Keith Krance, Thomas Meloche.
Anyway, no pressure to buy anything, I just wanted to share the books that I think are really helpful for budding digital marketers. I’ve bought other books but these have stood out for what I’m doing right now.
Let me know what you think. Have you read any of these books? Were they helpful to you? Do you have any recommendations for me? Hit me up on Facebook to chat…
